StayInMisool (and DiveInMisool) began as a personal initiative to connect travelers with trusted homestays, diving experiences, and local excursions in Misool, South Raja Ampat, Southwest Papua.

The project was founded by Manca, a former local dive guide in Misool who understands the reefs and dive sites of South Raja Ampat, and Tony, a professional travel fixer experienced in managing high profile clients and complex logistics in remote destinations. Together, they built StayInMisool as a dedicated platform for Misool homestay booking, diving coordination, snorkeling trips, and island exploration.

StayInMisool works directly with local homestay owners, boat crews, and community partners in Misool. We carefully curate homestays in Raja Ampat to ensure quality, transparency, and fair pricing. The goal is to strengthen sustainable tourism in Misool by supporting local families, protecting marine ecosystems, and encouraging responsible travel in South Raja Ampat.
